WT Online: Custom Chair Pads

In this online class, you will learn how to make two different styles of custom chair pads; knife edge with rounded front shape with ties and a zipper, and boxed with square corners, zipper and Velcro tabs .
Custom chair pads are an attractive yet practical way to add padding to a hard seat. Chair pads have a lower profile and ties, to hold them in place.

Session Two
- sewing first project with welt cord, zipper and ties
- begin second project with a new chair shape

- cutting top, bottom and boxing for the second project

- sewing chair pad with inside and outside corners
- Velcro tabs
- Inserting a zipper
This is an intermediate professional level course. An understanding of sewing and general tools and supplies are needed to complete the project. You will need: fabric, welt cord, zippers, hook & loop, foam and polyester batting.
