Part of the fun of taking classes at Workroom Tech is visiting our town, Tryon, North Carolina. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Tryon is known as "the friendliest town in the south", and we agree! In addition to the only dedicated, full-time workroom training facility in the state, and perhaps the US (yes, that's Workroom Tech!), Tryon and the surrounding area has an abundance of outdoor activities, a wide variety of locally owned shops and restaurants, galleries, music venues and interesting historical sites.
